FAQ: Everything you need to know about our rebrand

We’re thrilled to share a new chapter in our story. As CV Partner has grown and expanded into new markets, we’ve confirmed that our platform for managing CVs, resumes, and case studies is a vital resource for professional services firms worldwide. Now, we’re ready to take the next step forward — with a name that fully reflects our vision.

From the beginning, we knew a name change would one day be part of our journey. While our users have embraced “CV Partner,” experience in North America has shown us that the term “CV” doesn’t resonate as strongly; “resume” is more common, with some debate over spelling.

Most importantly, our platform has evolved. It now does more than just manage CVs, resumes, and case studies — it supports the entire flow of information within a team. A successful proposal can become a case study, and that expertise can be shared with everyone.

And so, with great excitement, we introduce our new name: Flowcase!

What is Flowcase?

Flowcase is the new name for CV Partner. While our core mission remains the same—helping professional services firms showcase their talents—our new name better reflects our expanded offerings and international focus.

Why did you change your name from CV Partner to Flowcase?

Several key reasons drove this decision:

  • Global recognition: The term “CV” isn’t universally recognized, especially in North America, causing confusion.
  • Expanded services: Our platform now includes project hosting and case study creation, beyond just managing employee profiles. The new name reflects this broader scope.
  • Clearer identity: The old name sometimes led to misunderstandings, with some viewing us as a tool for individual job seekers. The rebrand clarifies that we are a B2B SaaS platform.

How does this rebrand impact me?

Except changing our name and our brand, our focus and best of breed - approach will be the same. We are as dedicated as ever to delivering top-notch resume, CV, and case study software for professional services.

Why is the rebrand happening now?

A rebrand has been on our roadmap for years, but continuous growth delayed it until now. With our new office in Toronto, the timing felt right to adopt a more internationally recognized name.

Will there be any changes to the platform or how I access it?

You can continue accessing the platform as before. While we recommend transitioning to yourcompany.flowcase.com, you’ll still be able to use yourcompany.cvpartner.com.

However please note that some time next year, we will fully transition over to flowcase.com. Although the date is not yet confirmed, don’t worry! You will be informed well in advance, and we will offer any support you need to complete this change.

Do I need to update my existing accounts or settings?

No, there’s no need for you to update anything. Your accounts, settings, and data will remain unchanged.

Will the rebrand affect Single Sign-On (SSO) or user authentication?

If your company handles Single Sign-On (SSO) with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory), Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), or third-party SAML providers like Okta, you’ll need to update your configuration to include our new flowcase.com domain. If you are using Google SSO, no action is required.

The old cvpartner.com domain will still work, however please note that some time next year, we will fully transition over to flowcase.com, and you will need to ensure your have updated your SSO configuration before that time. Although the date is not yet confirmed, don’t worry! You will be informed well in advance, and we will offer any support you need to complete this change.

Will the rebrand affect our existing integrations?

No, existing integrations with other software will not be affected by the rebrand. All integrations will continue to function as they currently do.

However please note that some time next year, we will fully transition over to flowcase.com, and you will need to ensure your have updated your integrations before that time. Although the date is not yet confirmed, don’t worry! You will be informed well in advance, and we will offer any support you need to complete this change. What should I do if I have more questions or need support during this transition?

Feel free to reach out to our customer support team in the app or via email support@flowcase.com. We will still receive your emails if you message us at support@cvpartner.com. We are here to help you with any questions or concerns you may have.

What should I communicate to my finance/vendor/procurement department?

Please inform them that CV Partner AS has rebranded to Flowcase. Additionally, note that our organization number has changed from 999 212 611 to 932 614 286.

What if I still refer to you as CV Partner?

That’s perfectly fine. We understand if you continue to refer to us as CV Partner during the transition period.
