Introducing Similar Profiles: Find Your Perfect Team, Faster
We're excited to announce the beta release of Similar Profiles, our new AI-powered feature that makes building the ideal project team easier than ever.
What is Similar Profiles?
Similar Profiles uses AI to analyze your firm's data and surface users with overlapping skills and roles. When viewing a user’s resume (CV), you'll be able to discover team members who share similar expertise. This can help identify new candidates for projects, build teams with complementary experiences, reduce dependency on specific team members, and more.
Similar Profiles uses a dot scale to denote the similarity of users across their skills and roles. These dots range from one to five, with one being the loosest similarity, and five being the strongest.
How Similar Profiles drives value
When your first choice is unavailable
Often you find the perfect consultant for a project or proposal, only to discover they're already committed elsewhere. Similar Profiles instantly provides alternatives with comparable skills and roles, eliminating the need to start your search from scratch.
Building teams with overlapping skill sets
For complex projects requiring multiple team members in critical skill areas, Similar Profiles helps you to identify multiple employees with complementary and overlapping expertise.
Expanding consultant discovery
The perfect consultant for your project might be someone you've never worked with before. Similar Profiles helps surface these hidden gems within your organization, expanding your network beyond your usual go-to team members.
Replacing team members
In the scenario where an employee needs to leave a project, the team is able to quickly find a suitable replacement.
How to activate
As part of our AI Labs initiative, Similar Profiles is free to use while it is in the Beta stage. You will not be charged, nor auto-enrolled when it becomes a paid feature. To activate go to:
Admin > Settings > Flowcase AI
- If they have not already, they will first need to enable: “Flowcase AI”, which allows them to start using AI Labs
- They will then need to scroll down to AI Labs, where Similar Profiles can be toggled on within our new Recommendation Engine section.
Similar Profiles will then be viewable by all ‘Normal’ and ‘Admin’ users.
