Many professional services firms use salesforce CRM for generating quotes, proposals and more. This includes the salesforce experts at Stretch Consulting. In an afternoon a small team from Stretch and Flowcase created an integration linking an opportunity in Salesforce, with a proposal in Flowcase as a proof of concept. The integration was built in Apex code within Salesforce itself, in just two and a half hours.
Prerequisites included
- a Salesforce CRM account or sandbox environment
- a Flowcase account
- a Flowcase API key and the API documentation
- a small team of experts from Stretch consulting
The integration built a button within the proposal in Salesforce that creates a proposal with the same name in Flowcase. This is the first iteration and more advanced feature can easily be added to the flow.
