New feature

New Feature: Proposal Statuses

In this new update, users will be able to track the readiness of proposals and the resumes (CVs) / reference projects within them, via proposal statuses.

How will this streamline proposals?

The process of sourcing and tailoring resumes and case studies is often a team effort, with multiple stakeholders involved. By utilizing these status labels, teams will be able to collaborate more efficiently throughout the process, with everyone on the same page about where the proposal is at.

In addition, the labels can also help keep proposal statuses in sync with other applications when using integrations. For example, a firm might use the ‘Ready to Submit’ label to set off an automated workflow that pushes content to their wider proposal automation software, for final submission.

See the proposal statuses in action here 👇

For resumes/CVs and reference projects, the status labels are:

  • Added: The profile/project has been added to a proposal
  • Tailoring: The profile/project is in the process of being tailored
  • Ready: The profile/project is tailored and ready for submission

For proposals, the status labels are:

  • Selecting resources: Profiles/projects are still being added to the proposal
  • Tailoring: Profiles/projects within the proposal are in the process of being tailored
  • Ready to submit: All profiles/projects have been tailored and the proposal is ready for submission
  • Submitted: The proposal has been submitted (this happens outside of CV Partner)

Note: All your existing proposals and the content within the proposals have a default state of 'Unknown'. Please go through and update these as you see fit.

In this initial roll-out, users will have to manually change statuses; however, as we are continuously updating the proposal functionality, some automation, as well as additional statuses will be implemented in the future.

How to enable them

Proposal statuses will be automatically enabled on all user accounts.
