New Search Functionality: Introducing ‘OR’ Search Logic
We're excited to announce a powerful improvement to Flowcase's search capabilities. You can now use OR logic when searching for team members. This adds flexibility to your search process, making it easier and faster to find the right expertise for your proposals.
What's new?
Previously, when stacking multiple search criteria, Flowcase would only return results that matched ALL the specified conditions (using AND logic). While this ensured precise results, many of you told us that sometimes more flexibility is needed.
The new OR logic works by returning users or projects that match ANY of the selected search terms.
How it works:
- Start your search as usual in the interface
- Add multiple search terms
- Click the new OR toggle to the right hand side of the search bar
- The search results will dynamically update to show users matching any of your selected criteria
How it helps:
By searching across multiple overlapping qualifications, skills, or experiences, you can cast a wider net and capture a broader range of relevant candidates or projects. This reduces the need for multiple separate searches, saving you time and effort when identifying qualified team members or suitable projects to showcase. And if precision is required, the AND functionality is still available for more targeted results.
